Features: - The Omnia silk surgical sutures are made in multifilament not resorbable, in natural protein fiber made by weaving of derived silk fibers from the cocoons of silkworms Bombyx mori L. - The fibers are painted in black and purified to make them reliable from the point of view of biocompatibility e of non-capillarity. - They are also coated with beeswax to make the surface more smooth, uniform and increase its smoothness through the tissues limiting friction. - They are intertwined with a special process to make the compact, ductile, soft and easily surface knotable, manageable and visible.
