Die Spacer is used to provide sufficient space between the die and crown to accommodate cements used during seating. Indications: - Die Spacer is a coloured, paint-on material applied to dies that adds a desired dimension to the surface of the die to function as a “spacer.” Properties and advantages: - Produces a homogeneous coating of 5 ml in a single application on the die for crown and bridge restoration, ensuring accurate seating of restorations. - The film does not disassociate from the die while building the wax pattern due to heating. - Rapid setting reduces working time.
